VAJIRAM TEST SERIES
INSTRUCTION

It is a well known fact that VAJIRAM & RAVI is the most –favoured destination of an IAS aspirant. Successive batches of IAS toppers bear testimony to our unmatched quality and ability to adapt to the changing times and thus, the question trends. Under the expert guidance of its Director, P. S. Ravindran, Vajiram & Ravi has proficiency to help you deliver your best in the examination. The results speak for themselves – 320 Selections out of 800 Successful candidates in the 2008 Civil Services Examination, including six positions within the first ten. Successively for the past ten years (1999 – 2008) Vajiram & Ravi has captured, All India first rank in the IAS Examination.

However, if there’s one regret we had to live with, it was the large number of students who had to be turned away every year due to our inability to accommodate them. We hope to address this problem in part from this year as we introduce TEST SERIES for the Preliminary Test that will help you evaluate yourself under strict examination conditions. Students who haven’t been able to enroll for classroom courses for various reasons will be able to benefit from Vajiram’s time-tested guidance. Trust, quality and reliability – the bywords for Vajiram & Ravi – will remain our guiding force for the Test Series.

The institute proposes to hold NOT LESS THAN 12 TESTS including two comprehensive Mock Tests each for the Preliminary Test in General Studies, Public Administration, Commerce, Geography & Political Science from 20th December 2009. The examination and evaluation, needless to add, would be strictly on UPSC pattern. Negative marking would be factored into the evaluation process. You can expect an element of unpredictability in our Test Papers, much like what you are subjected to by the UPSC. The tests would be followed by explanatory classes at our Old Rajinder Nagar centre. The Test Series for each subject will include STRATEGY SESSION, STUDY MATERIAL, PRACTICE TESTS in the class and EXPLANATORY SESSION. We are limiting the centre to New Delhi.

An introductory test fee of Rs.8,500/- for General Studies and Rs.7,500/- for optional subjects (inclusive of Service Tax) is payable by a candidate. Payments can be made either by demand draft or local cheque drawn on a Delhi bank, favouring M/S Vajiram IAS Test Series.

The students taking our TEST SERIES would be able to know the Vajiram Merit List and their respective percentile scores. A dynamic website would facilitate the entire exercise. This would but be a small gesture to thank the students preparing for Civil Services, who repose faith in us, year after year.
